After their win on Monday against Durand to claim the Middle Border Conference Championship, the Prescott Cardinals Baseball Team swept Highway 10 Rival, Ellsworth, 6-4 on Thursday. Coach Jeff Ryan spoke with KDWA Sports.

On Wednesday, Hastings School District 200 recognized three employees, as the Education Minnesota Employee of the Year, the Intek Teacher of the Year, and the Teach of the Year as chosen by their fellow staff members. Celebrate spring with Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center's Apple Blossom Races on Sunday, May 20th. The Nationally Registered 5K uses all paved surfaces, walkers are welcome on the 5K only. The registration area will be located in Carpenter Nature Center's parking lot. All parking is at the Nature Center with rides furnished to the start area.
